Cairns Taipans players Matt Burston, Damon Heuir and Markel Starks visited Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome yesterday ahead of their game against the Perth Wildcats tonight at the Snake Pit.

After completing their pre-game media interviews on the Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome deck, overlooking Trinity Inlet, the players met with some of the resident wildlife including Nigey the Water Python and Micro the koala. Markel Starks and Damon Heuir were a little unsure of Nigey, but Matt Burston was happy to give her a cuddle!

The boys then headed upstairs for a game of ZOOMball – shooting hoops whilst Power Jumping down to the bottom of the Dome. We’re proud to say that both Matt Burston and Damon Heuir both got their shots through!
