As soon as you step out onto our Dome Climb, you will realise why we boast that we have the best views in Cairns!
From sweeping blue seas as far as the eye can see, to the cityscape set against lush green mountains, there’s plenty of magic to be seen from the Dome Climb.
Here’s five stunning views of Cairns that you can enjoy whilst harnessed to the outside of the top of the Cairns Casino…
1. Trinity Inlet
Trinity Inlet is an oceanic inlet lined with mangroves and mudflats. This important shipping route stretches 80 kilometres inland meeting China Man Creek.
The mouth of this mangrove-lined inlet can be perfectly seen from our Dome climb on one side and you will be delighted to gaze further down the inlet on the opposite side.
Who knows, you may even spot a crocodile lurking in the waters!
2. Cairns City
There’s nothing quite like Cairns City just before sunset and from the top of Cairns ZOOM & Wildlife Dome, it’s beauty level goes off the charts.
Silhouetted mountains make a picture-perfect canvas for a city bathed in warm light. An abundance of bats make their way out of the city for a night, creating splendid silhouettes.
3. The Coral Sea
Dream of views of blue seas stretching to the horizon? Our Dome Climb has you covered!
Gaze out left of the marina to the coral sea and dream of the spot where the underwater wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef begins.
4. Cairns Marina
There’s something undeniably breathtaking about a marina full of boats from above, their bright white bodies sparkling against the ocean.
Watch as reef boats head out to their destination, yachts set sail and cheeky speed boats take their adrenaline-filled laps.
5. The Mountains
The mountains around Cairns create a divine backdrop to the cosmopolitan city. Home to the World-Heritage rainforest, these lush green mountains are certainly a sight to behold.
Keep your eyes peeled for Walsh’s Pyramid, the highest freestanding natural pyramid in the world.
