Cairns Zoom and Wildlife Dome invited Manu Vatavei, Michael Jennings, Ata Hjngano and Tuimoala Lolhea in to see how they shape up to snakes and Zip lining!
Tonga Vs Snake
A few of the boys were not very keen on snakes, so naturally, we got wildlife keeper Stacey to pull out one of our biggest Jungle Pythons, Wilson. After a bit of hesitation Manu stepped up to the task of holding Wilson. The boys were all impressed and jumped in for a photo, although most raced to the tail end.

Next we surprised the boys by throwing them out the window… Onto the Dome-Climb. Not a bad place to check out a 360-degree view of cairns, and as a special treat we organised perfect weather! The boys all conquered this one with no worries and even hung over the edge to get the perfect #selfie

Tonga vs Power Jump
With the adrenaline running high, Zoom crew member Sam managed to convince the squad to take the fast way down from the Dome-Climb, the 13 Meter power jump. Now this one is where it got interesting. It appears the bigger you are, the more you dislike heights. There were a few shaky hands and maybe even a squeal or two. Although they all got over the edge in the end this one shook up a few nerves!
